Client Support Specialist

A leader in the personal growth industry, Mastin Kipp, is seeking a Client Support Specialist. This team is responsible for ensuring our clients get the best service possible. They are passionate about helping others and delivering a superior customer experience start to finish.

As the first point of contact, our ideal candidate must aspire to be a fantastic advocate for our customers, have a strong desire to deliver superior service and help design an amazing customer support function within the company.

We are looking for someone that loves helping people, has strong work ethic, is not afraid of technology and ready to take on a variety of responsibilities while simultaneously executing at a high level on a small, fast moving team.

This is for a full time, contractor position as a Customer Support Specialist, you can work virtually from your location of choice but if you are looking for a 9-5, Monday - Friday job, this isn't for you. As a fast growing, world wide company, we can't always fit things into a "normal" work week. 
 

ABOUT YOU:

The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling customer service related tasks and administrative support of a fast moving, entrepreneur based business. They will be a positive, proactive, friendly and enthusiastic individual who is great at providing a high level of direct customer service and various administrative tasks while creating/documenting systems and process for scalability and growth.

They will have experience with customer service software, excellent verbal and written communication skills and familiar with email marketing systems, shopping cart management and other essential elements of business tech, with meticulous attention to detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Answering all customer support requests via email, phone or web chat to ensure they have the best     experience possible
  • Has had success in relationship management and retention/renewal strategies
  • Write documentation to help customers (FAQ's/How To instructions)
  • Is comfortable with problem solving and is not flustered by ever-changing processes and systems    
  • Manage all day to day customer related tasks such as processing payments, customer follow-up, refunds, troubleshooting    
  • Create operations manuals for internal use
  • Troubleshooting and Escalating difficult and/or technical customer problems
  • Track client payments and working with bookkeeper where needed    
  • Capable of keeping track of many different tasks at the same time and creating priorities.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • 2-5 years Customer Service experience    
  • Amazing people skills, making others feel good comes naturally to you and you enjoy supporting others
  • Excellent writing skills, including good grammer, spelling and punctuation
  • Good proofreading skills: ability to see and correct errors
  • Super meticulus and proud of your attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google applications
  • "Can do" attitude and willingness to figure things out
  • Can express empathy and ownership
  • Experience with various software platforms including help desk and shopping carts

 

BONUS POINT SKILLS:

  • Wordpress experience    
  • Knowledgeable with shopping cart setup and management (1Shopping Cart/Infusionsoft)
  • Host management and using FTP
  • Infusionsoft experience    
  • PayPal and other merchant account experience
